Vol. 413 No. 9

Written Answers. - Townland Reclassification Application.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

152 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if an application has been received in his Department from Cooldorriby, Terelton, DED for consideration for reclassification from disadvantaged area to severely handicapped category.

An appeal application has been received by the Appeals Panel in respect of the townland of Cooldorragha in the DED of Teerelton Co. Cork. It is assumed that this is the townland to which the question refers.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

153 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid his agricultural grant; when these works were approved for grant assistance and the reason for the delay in payment.

This grant is being prepared for payment. Having regard to the level of claims currently on hands and the budgetary allocation, it is estimated that payment will be made within the next four to five weeks.
