77 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Finance if consultants have been employed by the National Debt Management Agency; if so, if he will outline (1) the names of the consultants and (2) the terms of their contracts.
101 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Finance the number of persons who are at present employed by the National Treasury Management agency; and the estimated total payroll cost of the agency in 1991.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 77 and 101 together.
I am informed by the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) that they currently employ 58 persons and that their estimated payroll cost in 1991 is £1.36 million.
The agency have also informed me that the following bodies have been engaged by them in a variety of consultancy projects relevant to the work and operations of the agency, mainly matters specific to the establishment of the agency.
