Ceist:162 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if she will make a statement on recent media reports that (1) the VHI have decided they will only hand over the £3 million which the Government are seeking in return for a commitment to hold down the cost of private accommodation in public hospitals and (2) if the VHI hand over the £3 million, their reserves will probably be only about half the level required by the European Community.
