165 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if she will give an assurance that her Department will fund the drug refund scheme in its entirety and that health boards will not be forced to partly fund the scheme from their own resources.

The eight health boards have been notified of their allocations in respect of 1992. Their allocations include provision for the costs arising from the drugs refund scheme based on current activity levels.
