I have been informed by the director of ERAD that herdowners whose herds are either totally or partially depopulated in the interest of eradication of Bovine TB may qualify for depopulation grants for each calendar month of the rest period specified by ERAD in respect of: each animal removed in the depopulation measure and those removed since the herd was restricted, on condition that the herdowner agrees depopulation at the time specified by ERAD. Otherwise payment is made on animals removed in the depopulation measure only.
