113 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Justice if he has made provision in the Estimates for 1992, to enable essential repairs to be carried out to courthouses around the country; and if so, if he will outline the amount he has provided for this work.
A sum of £1,250,000 has been provided in the 1992 Estimates for the Courts Vote in respect of capital works on courthouses.
114 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Justice if his Department have recouped to any local authority the capital cost of any approved renovation work to courthouses carried out in 1991; if so, if he will give details of (a) the location of these works and (b) the cost involved.
A total of £498,063 was expended in 1991 in the recoupment to local authorities of the capital cost of approved renovation work to courthouses during the year.
