Ceist:137 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if he has reviewed the present policies on recreational facilities pursued by his Department; and if he will outline the changes, if any, which will take place in 1992.
Written Answers. - Recreational Facilities.
The provision and development of amenities and recreational facilities are matters for the local authorities and local communities, in the first instance. I have no function in such matters unless and until a project is submitted to my Department for loan or grant purposes. I have no proposals to alter these arrangements.
