Vol. 416 No. 8
104 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education if a school (details supplied) in County Cork is due to lose a teaching post; and if so, if he will reconsider the matter in view of projected enrolments for the coming year.
The staffing of national schools for a particular year is determined by the enrolment in the school on 30 September of the previous year.
The school in question has a valid enrolment of 93 on 30 September 1991 which under the current staffing schedule warrants a staff of principal and two assistants for the 1992-93 school year. The third assistant presently serving in the school will be placed on the redeployment panel.
