127 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline, (a) the individual capital housing allocations to all the municipal authorities in County Wexford and to Wexford County Council for 1992, (b) the way in which this figure compares with that of each of the last six years for each respective local authority and (c) the number of houses it is anticipated will be constructed.
128 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details for each housing authority of the housing allocation for 1991 and 1992 under the headings, (1) new housing, (2) bathrooms, (3) refurbishment/renewal and (4) others; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 127 and 128 together.
Details of the local authority housing allocations in respect of 1991 and 1992 are set out in the following tabular statements.
I refer to the replies to Questions No. 34 of 4 May 1989, No. 252 of 25 April 1990, No. 69 of 14 March 1991 and No. 129 of 19 November 1991 for information relating to the period 1986 to 1990.
It is not possible at this stage to predict, on an authority by authority basis, house completions in 1992. It is anticipated, however, that some 1,500 completions will be achieved nationally this year. The tabular statement for 1992 indicates the number of new starts-acquisitions authorised for each authority for the year.
