Ceist:

136 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary, is entitled to a subsidy or compensation due to his herd being locked up with bovine tuberculosis for two-and-a-half years; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been informed by the director of ERAD that the person named has received his full reactor grant entitlement under the TB eradication scheme. As he had over 100 animals in his herd at the time of restriction he did not qualify for income supplement.
