105 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education if he will investigate the prospect of a person currently teaching in a second level school and who is on the supplementary teaching panel, being employed on a permanent basis in this present school.
Fillable vacancies in Catholic secondary schools must be filled in accordance with the terms of the redeployment scheme. In the event of there being no permanent, full-time redeployee suitable for assignment to the particular vacancy in question, the scheme provides that a teacher on the supplementary panel may be appointed to the post.
