Ceist:

99 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Justice if a temporary visa will be allocated to a Syrian national (details supplied) in County Wexford so that he can have a holiday in Ireland with his brothers and sister; if a repeat application in this regard will be approved; and whether the reason for the previous refusal will be given.

A visa will not be granted to the person named in the question.

It has always been the practice not to disclose reasons for the refusal to grant a particular visa and there is no reason why this practice should be departed from in this case.
