255 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment when he will be in a position to grant approval for the tenders for phase 3 of the South Bank interceptor sewerage scheme for Drogheda, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A tender recommendation for this scheme has been submitted by Drogheda Corporation and is under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision will be made.
