325 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will make a grant available under the scheme of grants under the voluntary bodies in respect of an application (details supplied) which has been lodged with the Department of the Environment.
My Department operate a scheme of grants to voluntary social service organisations. No application under this scheme appears to have been received from the organisation in question.
The 1992 scheme was recently advertised in the national papers. Information on the scheme, together with an application form, has been forwarded to the organisation.
