88 Mr. T. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education whether the proposed Green Paper on Education will deal comprehensively with the position of the Irish language within the education system; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The Green Paper will be a comprehensive document covering a wide range of issues including the Irish language. As indicated in reply to other questions, I will publish the paper in the near future. I am sure that the Deputy will appreciate, therefore, that it would be inappropriate for me to go into further detail at this stage.
