Ceist:

149 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of all national lottery funding allocated by his Department to Cork city and county since the national lottery began operating.

The compilation of details of all individual schemes in Cork city and county for which national lottery funding has been allocated by my Department since 1987 would involve an inordinate amount of staff time and resources which is not warranted. However, schedules listing the grants allocated from national lottery funds for amenities and recreational facilities by city and county areas for the period 1987-88 and for each of the years 1990 and 1991 are available in the Oireachtas Library. There was no amenity, etc., grant scheme in 1989.

In the case of other services financed by my Department from the national lottery, expenditure in Cork city and county was as follows:
