186 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment the reason the promised funding for the Leap sewerage scheme and the Skibbereen stage III regional water scheme for Schull village has not been made available; and if he will confirm that both these schemes can start without further delay.
In accordance with the normal arrangements for sanitary services schemes, funding arrangements for these two schemes will be determined when acceptance of the necessary tenders has been approved and the schemes are approved to go to construction. A tender submission in respect of Leap sewerage scheme was received only on 2 April 1992, and is under examination. No tender submission has been made in respect of Skibbereen stage III regional water scheme.
