Ceist:103 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive a VAT refund for which he applied nine months ago.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the claim in question was first received in that office on 23 May 1991. As the claim form was incomplete another form was issued to the claimant on 5 June 1991 for completion. The completed form was not returned to the Revenue Commissioners until 23 April 1992. The claim was dealt with immediately and repayment will issue shortly.
