72 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Finance if, in relation to the proposed new Killarney golf course, he will confirm the previous owner of the 876 acres of land; and if he will outline the amount of land which was owned by Coillte and the amount which was in private hands.
I assume the 876 acres of land to which the Deputy refers, is the area that the Office of Public Works propose that the Golf Club acquire contiguous to the National Park and transfer to the Office of Public Works as part of the arrangement whereby the Office of Public Works will lease 90 acres on the periphery of the Park to the Club.
The present owner of the 876 acres is Coillte Teo.
