33 Mr. Kemmy asked the Minister for Finance the total amount of moneys received to date for the sale of the State owned properties on Upper Merrion Street; whether this is the final sum; and if he will outline the purposes for which the moneys have been allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The total sum of money received to date from the sale of these properties amounts to £3,753,000. This figure does not include the balance of the purchase moneys for Nos. 25 to 29 Merrion Street, the sale of which is due to close on 4 June next. Money accruing from the sale of the properties is credited to the Exchequer as an Extra Exchequer Receipt.
