Vol. 420 No. 4

Written Answers. - Site Inspector.

Phil Hogan

Ceist:

93 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if she will give details of the total number of days the inspector appointed to investigate the sale of a site to a company (details supplied) has worked; if the inspector is being paid on a daily rate; the amount of fees and expenses incurred to date; when the inspector's report will be completed, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to an earlier question in this House on 7 April 1992 (Vol. 418, No. 4, Col. 729). The total amount paid to the inspector remains unchanged from the amount specified in my reply.

The inspector, who was appointed on 9 October 1991, continues to endeavour to vigorously pursue his investigation.
