Vol. 420 No. 4

Written Answers. - Agriculture House.

Ruairí Quinn

Ceist:

108 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if the contract documentation has been completed for the remedial works to Agriculture House, Kildare Street, Dublin 2; whether tenders have been sought and received; the estimated cost of the works involved; the probable date of commencement; if, in the interim period between now and completion he will arrange for the timber hoarding on Kildare Street to be painted, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Tenders for the remedial works to Agriculture House, Kildare Street, Dublin 2 have been invited and are due back this week. The cost is likely to be in excess of £1 million. It is expected that work will commence in July 1992 and take twelve months to complete. As the execution of the work may well require removal of the hoarding it is not proposed to paint it at this stage. However the matter will be kept under review.
