Ceist:

120 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the grave problems caused by the lack of supervision on the school transport provided for pupils attending a school (details supplied) in County Louth; if he has any plans, to redress this in conjunction with Bus Éireann; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am not aware of the problems to which the Deputy refers and Bus Éireann, who administer the school transport scheme, have advised me that no such difficulties have been brought to their attention.

If the Deputy would wish to submit further details, the matter will be investigated.
