Vol. 421 No. 1

Written Answers. - Under-Age Drinking.

Tony Gregory

Ceist:

40 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if the gardaí have received complaints that under-age persons are sold alcohol at an off-licence (details supplied) in Dublin 7; and, if so, if he will outline the action they are taking in this regard.

It is not the practice of Ministers for Justice to disclose whether the gardaí are carrying out an investigation into a particular individual or establishment, unless there are exceptional circumstances which warrant such a course.

If the Deputy has information to the effect that breaches of the law are taking place in a particular establishment, he should report the matter to the gardaí.
