Ceist:180 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to carry out an audit for the year 1986-87 of a primary school (details supplied) in County Longford.

The school referred to by the Deputy is currently the subject of audit by my Department.
Normally such an audit would be carried out on the most recent year of accounts which would, in this case, be the 1990-91 school year. If the audit requires further examination of other accounts then this would be carried out.
