221 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on recent comments by a person (details supplied) that Cork City General and St. Finbarr's hospital failed to respond to a questionnaire for a consumers guide to maternity illnesses in Ireland.
Inquiries have been made from the Southern Health Board about this matter and I understand that the questionnaire referred to by the Deputy was never received by St. Finbarr's Hospital.
The City General Hospital is a private institution and it would not be appropriate for me to make a statement on this matter as requested by the Deputy.
