Edward Nealon

Ceist:

274 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the outstanding 1991 special dairy suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo.

This applicant's grant under the 1991 suckler cow pemium scheme for small-scale milk producers is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

275 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the outstanding headage payments for 1991 will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo.

Grants under the 1991 Sheep headage, special beef premium and suckler cow premium schemes for small-scale milk producers have already been paid to the person named.

His 1991 Cattle Headage Scheme grant is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

276 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Laois will receive his suckler cow subsidy.

The applications of the person named for grants under the 1991 beef cow and equines headage and EC suckler cow premium schemes are being processed at present and payments will issue shortly.

277 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will approve an application for a reactor grant by a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

All reactor grants due to the person named have been paid.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

278 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason the application for a headage grant of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has been turned down.

The applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage, suckler cow and special beef premium schemes. He was not paid grants under the 1990 suckler cow scheme for small scale milk producers as he did not have more cows than were necessary to fill his quota of 8,400 gallons.
