Ceist:

280 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will confirm the reason a cow suckler premium was refused to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will reconsider his decision as rejection has imposed financial hardship on the applicant.

The person named has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme for small scale milk producers as his milk quotas at 1 April 1991 exceeded the limit of 12,819 gallons.
