Vol. 421 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael Finucane

Ceist:

295 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the balance of a 1991 beef premium grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick as it has been sanctioned by the Limerick office since 21 May 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This applicant has been paid 80 per cent of the grant due to him under the 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme already. The balance due to him under that scheme is being processed at present and will issue shortly.

Michael Finucane

Ceist:

296 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the current status of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick who has not received beef premium payments for 1989, 1990 and 1991; and if he will make, a statement on the matter.

My Department is unable to trace any application for grants under the 1989 special beef premium scheme from the person named. He has been deemed ineligible for payment of grants under the 1990 special beef premium scheme because all the animals listed on his application were female animals. He has been deemed ineligible for payment of grants under the 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme because his application was received after the closing date for receipt of applications under that scheme and there were no tag numbers listed on his application form.

P. J. Sheehan

Ceist:

297 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his suckler cow grant for 1991.

This applicant has already been paid his grant under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme.

Michael Finucane

Ceist:

298 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will confirm whether authorisation for a suckler cow premium has been sanctioned by the Limerick Office of his Department for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if not, when it will be sanctioned; and when payment will be made.

This person has been paid his grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme already.

Bernard J. Durkan

Ceist:

299 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when full beef and cow grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The position with this application is the same as in my reply of Tuesday, 26 May 1992.
