Ceist:

64 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Defence if he will give details of the total number of staff, either full-time or part-time, working (a) in his private ministerial office, (b) in his constituency office and (c) elsewhere in his Department but working personally for him; if he will outline (1) the number, if any, working for him under consultancy agreements or contracts and (2) the salary level or fees payable in each case; and if he will list the names of the people in each case.

The information sought in regard to staff numbers is as follows:-

(a) 5; (b) 6; (c) 1.

All are employed on a full-time basis.

The firm, Frank Dunlop and Associates, is engaged on a contract basis as public relations consultants for my Department at a fee of £1,500 per month plus VAT
