Vol. 422 No. 5

Written Answers. - School Administration.

Pat Rabbitte

Ceist:

105 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education if he has yet completed his investigation into complaints from parents concerning the administration of a school (details supplied); if he will outline the findings of his investigation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The complaints referred to by the Deputy concern a number of distinct and separate issues in relation to this school. While my Department's investigation has been completed on some of the issues raised others are still receiving consideration and it is hoped that these can be concluded at an early date.

I would not consider it appropriate to publicise the findings of an investigation. However, it is standard practice for my Department to contact the relevant parties on conclusion of its investigations.
