70 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will give details in respect of his Department of (a) the legislation promised in the Oireachtas since 1989 and (b) the legislation introduced in the Oireachtas; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The following items of primary legislation have been introduced by me in the Oireachtas since 1989: Insurance Act 1989; Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act 1989; Unit Trusts Act 1990; Companies (Amendment) Act 1990; Companies Act 1990; Trade and Marketing Promotion Act 1991; Competition Act 1991; Liability for Defective Products Act 1991; Industrial Development (Amendment) Act 1991; Patents Act 1992.
This programme of legislation honours the major commitments which I have given in relation to the introduction of legislation.
