73 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the total grant aid approved, the year approved and the grant aid paid, by year, in 1990 price terms, to companies which went out of business or subsequently closed down and the year of such closure from 1960 to 1991.
I would draw the Deputy's attention to the reply I gave to a similar parliamentary question on 7 October 1992 (Reference: Dáil Official Report 7 October 1992, Volume 423, No. 1, Column 127-128) which covers the period 1980-90.
The information sought by the Deputy is not available for the period from 1960 onwards. While it is available in uncollated form from 1973 it would take some considerable time to compile it.
