Ceist:120 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the proposals, if any, he has to review the sugar beet quota regime for the 1993 harvest; and the proposals, if any, for reform.

The current EC sugar regime remains in place until 30 June 1993. Proposals in relation to the operation of the regime from 1 July 1993 ar expected from the Commission by the end of this month.
