108 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position in relation to the supply and demand of agricultural products by sector within the EC in terms of self-sufficiency or surplus for the sub-sectors consisting of dairy products, beef, sheep, cereal, poultry and pig meat.
The EC self-sufficiency ratios for the products on which information is requested was as follows in two recent years:—
