Ceist:76 Mr. L. Burke asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of people unemployed in Cork city, on 31 January in each of the years from 1987 to 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
It is proposed to take Questions Nos. 75 and 76 together. The relevant information requested by the Deputy is contained in the following table, which was supplied to the Department of Social Welfare by the Central Statistics Office.
Number of Persons on the Live Register in Local Offices in Cork city and county on the last Friday of January 1987 to 1992 inclusive.
