Michael Finucane

Ceist:

160 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Education when a grant will be paid to a school (details supplied) in County Limerick as the school management has certified that equipment has been supplied in accordance with standard tendering procedures; and the reason for the delay in payment of this grant.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach)

A grant towards the cost of furniture supplied to the school in County Limerick referred to by the Deputy will be paid within a week or two. It was not possible to pay the grant earlier as the claim for payment was not supported by the relevant documents.
