166 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education the educational provisions which are being made for a student (details supplied) who is difficult and who at present does not attend school.
The difficulties associated with the placement of the child in question have only recently been brought to my Department's attention.
My Department is at present awaiting a psychological assessment from the Eastern Health Board in order that the Department's Inspectorate can investigate the question of the child's educational placement.
I will inform the Deputy of the outcome of these investigations as soon as possible.
