My Department's responsibilities relate to the provision of dental services to eligible persons under the Health Acts. My Department has no function with regard to the regulation of charges raised by dental practitioners for services carried out to patients on a private basis. I have, accordingly, directed the Deputy's inquiry to the relevant Government Department.
