John O'Leary

Ceist:

121 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment when surface water will be separated from the sewers in the Woodlawn area in Killarney, County Kerry, in view of the six million pounds made available for the provision of a proper sewerage scheme for the town of Killarney from EC structural funds; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The preliminary report for this scheme was approved in July 1992. The further planning of the scheme is a matter for Killarney Urban District Council. The question of funding, or of co-financing by the EC, does not arise at this stage.

Dinny McGinley

Ceist:

122 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment the proposals, if any, he has for a sewerage scheme for Ardara, County Donegal; the stage the planning has reached; and when he expects that work will commence on this.

Donegal County Council have been asked to submit a revised preliminary report in this case. Further considerations will be given to the proposal when this is received.
