Ceist:95 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in the payment of a headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted but her late husband is. If she applies for and becomes registered as the herdowner, grants due under the 1992 Cattle and Equines Headage and Special Beef Premium Schemes will then be paid to her.
