Building Societies Bill, 1993: First Stage.

I move:

That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to make further and better provision with respect to building societies, to amend the Building Societies Act, 1989, and to provide for greater accountability on the part of directors of such societies to their members, and for connected purposes.
