Vol. 430 No. 5

Written Answers. - Kilfinane (Limerick) School.

Gerard Collins

Ceist:

209 Mr. Collins asked the Minister for Education the amount of moneys available in 1993 for repair and refurbishment works at Ballyorgan national school, Ballyorgan, Kilfinane, County Limerick; and if she will give details of the works which have to be carried out there.

The chairman of the board of management of this school has indicated recently he is now interested in proceeding with the following improvement works which were originally sanctioned for grant purposes in 1990:— 1. re-slate the main pitched roof; 2. re-felt the roof over corridor and toilets; 3. replace two large classroom windows and three cloak-room windows.

The amount of grant which should be approved at this stage in respect of these works is presently under consideration in my Department and will be communicated to the chairman within a few weeks.
