Ceist:168 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction an application from Listowel Urban Council to provide bathroom facilities for unserviced houses at O'Connell's Avenue, Listowel, County Kerry.

Local authorities are responsible for the provision of these facilities in their dwellings. To assist Listowel Urban District Council in this matter, an allocation of £30,000 has been made in 1993, which brings to £50,000 the amount provided to them to date under the sub-programme for the provision of bathrooms in local authority dwellings.
