248 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has for primary education in the town of Buttevant, County Cork; if the amalgamation of the present primary schools is under consideration; if so, if she will ensure that adequate extra accommodation will be provided for the school year 1993/95; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department is currently in communication with the local managerial authorities on the issue of the re-organisation of the two national schools in Buttevant into a single co-educational unit. All aspects of the matter, including the accommodation implications, are being examined.
