Ceist:

27 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number of persons within his Department who are currently operating on a work-sharing basis; and if he intends to encourage a higher percentage of his staff to become involved in work-sharing projects.

A total of 23 staff within my Department are currently working on a job-sharing basis.

All officers serving in a full-time capacity are eligible to apply to participate in the job-sharing scheme and practically all applicants are facilitated where possible.
