Ceist:131 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Justice the present staffing levels in the Garda Station in Cashel, County Tipperary; if all staff who retire or resign will be replaced; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the current manpower at Cashel station is ten. The question of replacing any member who retires or resigns would be a matter of Garda Management who are responsible for the allocation of staffing resources and who make their decisions on the basis of their best professional judgment as to the requirements of particular areas from time to time.
