156 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number of applications for grant aid received by the County Development Office for County Kildare in anticipation of the setting up of the County Enterprise Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
While the work of the County Development Secretaries in the counties and areas comprising the Western Development System (Cavan, Clare, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Monaghan, Roscommon, Sligo, West Cork and West Limerick) and the associated Western Development Fund comes under the aegis of my Department, I have no responsibility or function in respect of County Development Offices in other counties or areas, including Couny Kildare. Consequently, I do not have the information sought by the Deputy.
