Vol. 431 No. 2

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 3 (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Shatter — the position of relatives of Bosnian refugees currently in Ireland; and whether these relatives will be allowed entry to the State. (2) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív — the need to provide funding for the provision of extra geriatric beds in Merlin Park, Aras Mhic Dara, Carraroe, and Clifden hospitals in County Galway. (3) Deputy Matt Brennan — the way in which moneys are collected by the Irish Music Rights Organisation and Phonographic Performance (Ireland) Limited for the public performance of copyright music. (4) Deputy Connor — the visit to the Cregga Hill dump site, County Roscommon, by Deputy John Browne, the Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, on 19 April 1993. (5) Deputy Rabbitte — the need to retain a fourth teacher at Saggart national school in the context of the planned residential developments adjacent to the school and the strong parental wish to retain the current teaching complement. (6) Deputy Gay Mitchell — the need to review the driving test regulations which applied in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12. (7) Deputy Bernard Allen — whether the proposed new Bord Bia will be located in Blarney, County Cork, as this would project an appropriate image for such an organisation.

The Ceann Comhairle has for discussion the matters raised by Deputies Shatter, Connor, Ó Cuív and Rabbitte.
