I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Doyle — the imminent closure of Wexmann Trousers and the loss of 109 jobs in Wexford town; (2) Deputy Deenihan — the need for the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry to withdraw Agriculture House, Oakpark, Tralee, County Kerry, from public auction in view of its architectural value and cultural potential and to ensure that it is retained in public ownership; (3) Deputy Keogh — whether it is intended to apply for planning permission to retain the development at Mullaghmore following the Supreme Court decision of 26 May 1993; (4) Deputy Durkan — the subject matter of Parliamentary Question No. 82 to the Minister for Social Welfare on 20 May 1993; (5) Deputy F. Fitzgerald — the Supreme Court decision in relation to the interpretative centres at Mullaghmore and Luggala; (6) Deputy Connaughton — the funding of the new sewerage scheme at Williamstown, County Galway; (7) Deputy Deasy — the on-going destruction of the habitats of nesting birds and wildlife in general; (8) Deputy Nealon — the need for immediate action to prevent the widespread downgrading of sub-post offices by the removal of post sorting activities, as proposed for the sub-post offices of Aclare, Tourlestrane, Lavagh and Curry in the Sligo postal district; (9) Deputy Sargent — the question of rights-of-way and other related matters in connection with a golfing and hotel development at Portmarnock; (10) Deputy Dukes — the restrictions on intervention weights of beef carcases confirmed by the EC Council of Ministers on 26 May 1993; (11) Deputy Finucane — the need to define the future of the Stella Maris Convent, Foynes, County Limerick, in order to allay fears in view of its refusal to accept students for the 1993-94 academic year and also in view of its impending closure in 1958 and (12) Deputy McManus — the after hours referral service for homeless children in the Eastern Health Board area in the context of the present industrial dispute, and the need for urgent action to ensure that homeless children are not put at risk because of this situation.
